Born Louis Anthony Grandison Jr, he grew up in the mean streets of Seaview Garden in Jamaica which were the stomping grounds for such reggae legends as Shabba Ranks and Garnet Silk. Growing up in the poverty stricken streets he learn to take out his frustration the best way he knew how, by song.
